My BioGraphy


Dr. Mallory Meyer grew up in the Chicago suburbs & Mexico City, Mexico. She was a member of the Fighting Illini swim team and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Kinesiology. Dr. Meyer then moved to Colorado where she completed medical school at Rocky Vista University. She completed her general surgery residency training at Swedish Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery.

Dr. Meyer’s professional interests include all aspects of general surgery, and complex problems of the stomach, small intestine, liver, pancreas, and biliary system - with both minimally invasive (robotic and laparoscopic) and traditional open surgical approaches. She focuses on opioid-sparing surgery to facilitate a speedy recovery and a rapid return to normal life for her patients. She has a passionate interest in median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS) and is dedicated to providing appropriate surgical management and community education about this disease process.

Dr. Meyer practices with the belief that every patient deserves great communication, compassion, and a multidisciplinary and personalized approach to their care. She is a proud leadership member of the Center for Diseases of the Liver and Pancreas at Swedish Medical Center and Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in Colorado and surrounding states.

Outside of the hospital and clinic, Dr. Meyer can be found in the mountains, cycling or snowboarding with her husband and their dog.
