Born in Virginia, her father was a Navy pilot, which led to traveling through the United States until she moved to Washington where her family still is today. Growing up, her family embarked on their annual summer trips back to Minnesota to spend time with her large extended family. Today, with her husband and three children, Dr. Gowing still enjoys family trips in her time off and maintains close ties with family across the US. Now in Denver, Dr. Gowing has found the perfect place to pursue her love of medicine, family, food, and all the wonders of the Colorado outdoors.
