C.J. Garey, N.P

C.J. grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE. After receiving a degree in biology, she was a chemist for a flour milling company in Columbus, OH and Buffalo, NY. She returned Denver to do research with pharmaceutical delivery systems. She went back to school to become a nurse. As a registered nurse she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver in both medical-surgical and cardiac fields. In 2002, after completing her master’s degree and becoming a nurse practitioner, she came to SurgOne, P.C. to work with Dr. Richard Tillquist. Her professional interests include bariatric surgery and bariatric related co-morbid conditions.

C.J.’s interests include hiking, biking, skiing, boating, motorcycling, softball and traveling.
